Fosroc Proofex 3000

Proofex 3000 is a cold-applied, highly effectively product used as a damp-proof membrane in substructures and basement projects. It is self-adhesive, though does require a primer to be applied before the backing is removed and the membrane applied to the surface.

Proofex 3000 provides protection against aggressive ground salts, as well as radon and vapour. As such this incorporates protection against soluble chlorides and sulphates.

With a cross-laminated production, Proofex 3000 is a tough and durable damp proof membrane that is flexible enough to apply effectively in corners and difficult edges.

N.B. Suitable for use in waterproofing grade 2 and 3 level substructures and basements according to BS 8102 :2009:

• Grade 2 - Plant rooms and workshops requiring a drier environment (than Grade 1); storage areas. No water penetration acceptable. Damp areas tolerable; ventilation might be required
• Grade 3 - Ventilated residential and commercial areas, including offices, restaurants etc., leisure centres. No water penetration acceptable. Ventilation, dehumidification or air conditioning necessary, appropriate to the intended use.

Proofext 3000 is certified by BBA, and complies with EN 13707:2004 and EN 13969:2004, as well as BRE 211.
